How We Choose What Goes on Our 2026 Crypto Events Calendar

After so many years inside the industry, a few things have become very clear when deciding whether an event is worth flying to.

1. The organizers.We only select events with a proven reputation and global recognition. The ones that consistently bring in respected speakers, strong sponsors, and people you actually want to meet.

2. The side events.This is a big one for us. A conference with weak or almost no side events usually means the community isn’t supporting. In Web3, the best conversations rarely happen on stage. They happen at dinners, rooftops, private meetups, and in unexpected corners of the city. If there is one event in the entire industry that truly defines the year, it’s TOKEN2049 Singapore. The whole ecosystem shows up. The side events feel like a city-wide takeover. Every founder, investor, builder, creator, and friend you’ve met in Web3 ends up in the same place.

Dubai has its strengths, but Singapore is still the flagship. If you pick just one event in 2026, this is the one.

Korea Blockchain Week https://koreablockchainweek.com/ deserves a special mention. It usually happens right before TOKEN2049 Singapore and feels like a warm-up. The same people gather there, but the pace is much calmer and more intimate. By the time you land in Singapore, everyone is already in the zone.
